What is volume discounting?

Volume Discounting is an automated feature available to approved customers who log in and buy green coffee through our website. It’s based on a simple premise: buy more, save more.

As you shop, your cart will automatically apply a flat discount as your total bag count passes certain thresholds. These discounts are displayed in cents per pound and will be applied across all coffees in your cart, so feel free to create a mixed pallet! Everything in your cart counts toward your overall volume-based discount.

Before checking out you will have the opportunity to review your cart, see what further discounts are available, and adjust the total number of bags in your cart as needed. If you’re looking to save more, just add some bags, hit “Update Shopping Cart” to refresh, and see your new discount!

On individual product pages, dynamic pricing for that specific lot will appear below the single-bag price. You will see your updated pricing once bags are added to your cart.

On category pages, a display banner will show you the bag counts needed to receive discounts, along with the discount amounts in cents per pound.

• Customers who are working directly with traders may have prearranged pricing set up on their accounts; Volume Discounting is not applicable in these situations (you are already receiving a discount!). 
• Volume Discounts are compatible with other offers! If you have a coupon code or are looking to utilize a Pallet Discount, both discounts will apply.
• In rare cases, certain coffees have already been heavily discounted and their prices cannot be further reduced. However, if you add to your cart, they will go toward your overall bag count!
• Discounts and the bag counts necessary to receive them are designed to reflect our pricing for a typical purchase of that size. Thus, they should be relatively consistent, but the exact discount amounts on offer and associated bag counts needed are subject to change at Covoya’s discretion.
